Somatic clothing is designed around how your body feels from the inside, not only how it looks from the outside. “Somatic” means “of the body”. Somatic clothing considers how fabric, cut and weight feel as you move, breathe and go about your day, so getting dressed supports the way you want to feel.

Embodied Fashion is CREATRICE’s approach to design. Each piece starts with a question: how do you want to feel in your body? Grounded or expansive, soft or strong. We design clothes that carry that feeling with you. CREATRICE is The Home of Embodied Fashion.

We think about how each piece moves with you. Wrap and drape follow the body’s lines, weighted fabric helps you settle, and fluid panels give you room to breathe and stretch. Every piece balances ease with a little structure, so you feel both comfortable and held.

PRESENCE™ is the somatic method created by our co-founder, Layla El Khadri. It uses breath and movement to help you ground yourself and feel present in your body. You can try a free 12-minute PRESENCE™ practice on our website. It’s the feeling every CREATRICE piece is designed to hold.

We work mainly with silk, Bemberg™ cupro, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose and a silk and linen-viscose blend. We choose these fibres for how they feel on the skin, how they breathe and how they move. Every CREATRICE piece includes certified fabrics, such as OEKO-TEX®, GOTS and GRS. Each product page lists its exact fabric.

Our pieces are available in UK sizes 8 to 14 and fit true to size. Each product page has its own size guide with real garment measurements, so you can check the fit you prefer before you order.

We recommend a gentle hand wash in cool water with a mild, silk-friendly detergent. Treated with care, your pieces will stay soft and beautiful for years. Always check the care label on each garment.

We send every order from the UK with a tracked service, at a flat rate shown at checkout:

• United Kingdom: £8
• Europe (EU countries, Switzerland and Norway): £15
• United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Indonesia: £30

We prepare orders within 2–3 business days. From dispatch, delivery usually takes 1–3 business days in the UK, 5–10 in Europe and 7–14 elsewhere. You’ll receive tracking details by email as soon as your order is on its way.

No. For orders outside the UK, import duties and taxes are calculated and paid at checkout, so there’s nothing more to pay when your order arrives.

You can return a piece within 14 days of delivery, unworn and with its tags and packaging intact. Log in to your account, open your order and select “Request return”, or email us at hello@creatricestudio.com. Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a prepaid return label.

Your return label costs the same as your delivery rate (£8 UK, £15 Europe, £30 rest of world) and is taken from your refund. Your refund includes your original delivery charge, so you only ever pay for delivery once.

We process refunds within 7–10 business days of your return arriving with us, to your original payment method.

We don’t currently offer exchanges. If you’d like a different size or colour, please return your piece for a refund and place a new order. You’ll find full details on our Delivery & Returns page.
