CREATRICE is created with integrity first.
Not only in how garments feel on the body, but in how they are made.
Our approach is grounded in care, transparency, and conscious creation. Every fabric we select, every partner we work with, and every quantity we produce creates impact — social, environmental, and human.
CREATRICE is built through long-term relationships with skilled makers, responsible suppliers, and thoughtful production partners.
Our Commitment
CREATRICE is grounded by a set of non-negotiable standards
that guide how we design, source, and produce.
We prioritise:
- Natural, low-impact, and responsibly produced fabrics
- Certified and traceable materials
- UK production to reduce waste and overproduction
- European manufacturing partners chosen for skill, care, and transparency
- Design decisions that prioritise longevity, versatility, and wearability
We commit to intention, clarity, and continual improvement.
Our Care
At CREATRICE, fabric choice is both an ethical and embodied decision.
We work primarily with silk, cupro, viscose, and regenerated fibres chosen for how they:
- Breathe with the body
- Move without restriction
- Feel supportive rather than synthetic or rigid
- Age with beauty rather than disposability
We use materials that allow the body to soften, expand, and regulate — while also respecting the environmental and human systems behind their creation.
Our Materials
We believe longevity is not only about durability, but about desire.
Silk holds value in a wardrobe — not only for its quality, but for its emotional resonance.
When a garment is worn with intention, it is kept, cared for, and returned to over time.
Where applicable, our fabrics are:
GOTS-certified
GRS-certified
OEKO-TEX-cerified
LENZING™ and ECOVERO™ VISCOSE
Asahi Kasei Bemberg™
FSC sourced where regenerated fibres are used
REACH compliant in dyeing processes
Our Sourcing
We work with mills and fibre innovators known for technical excellence and responsible production.
- Silk sourced from heritage mills in China, dyed and finished in the United Kingdom in small batches
- Cupro fibre by Bemberg™ Japan, woven by specialist mills in Turkey
- Regenerated fibres from leaders such as Lenzing™, recognised for transparent environmental standards
This allows us to maintain traceability, minimise excess, and support high standards of environmental and human care.
We are a Small Growing Brand
Sustainability is not a fixed destination, but an ongoing practice — one we approach with openness, accountability, and care.
